ALSTER VILLA

In an exclusive location at Hamburg’s Alster Lake is where the modern villa of a couple is situated; a couple who is appreciative of art and fond of travelling. They are at home all over the world – and bring the world to their home. The chandeliers come from Venice, Portugal and the Czech Republic. In other words, from Gisa Narracott and her LIGHTCOUTURE Studio.

GREAT SENSE OF HARMONY

Gisa outfitted all the main rooms in the villa with their matching chandeliers and ingenious ensembles. With her feeling for interior, colours and proportions, she paid close attention in particular to ensuring the large-format paintings perfectly harmonised with their respective chandelier. Her chandeliers set each personal artefact in the right light, while not outshining them.

The spectacular Portuguese chandelier from Bijout only plays a leading role in the dining room. That’s because here, too, Gisa integrated an existing element in the details. In line with the blue tone of the painting in the dining room, she added blue glass touches to the chandelier – a statement and a citation in one.
